"In recent years my relationship with social media has been an interesting one. I loved Instagram as it's an amazing source of inspiration as an artist. However, I realised I was comparing myself to others on a daily basis and would spend hours scrolling through peoples perfectly portrayed lives, feeling like I'm going nowhere with my own. I realised I wasn't alone when a few weeks back I started researching into this. Social media depression is a prominent problem amongst the youth of today. These illustrations are inspired by peoples anonymous feedback that I gathered around my university, highlighting keywords that I feel really emphasis the true issues with social media."
