“I produce spray and stencil works based old out of context comic book panels. A series I call ‘Fragmented Comics.’ The first collection, near completion, is themed around mental health and particularly my own. Through a process of picking random comic panels from my archive that speak to me in some visual or textual way. As I produced works, the fragments of panels started to form a narrative. A comic strip of sorts, but from my subconscious choices of panels, the collection tells a story. A story that once the exhibition I am planning is over, will never be told again, as the fragments scatter out to those who wish them in their spaces, again just out of context comic book panels.”
