I have recently embarked on a body of work that really delves into my experience of motherhood, mental health and the emergence of self that transpires through this life altering transition. It’s the first time I have really trusted myself to express what needed to be expressed.
I’ve been ashamed and scared of opening up through my work about my mental health. Having begun this process, I am feeling so empowered by others around me and supported by those that are joining me on this journey."
