"As an artist, I refer to my style of expression as cognitive expressionism. The ability to create work that translates from mind to canvas, trusting your self and your ability to create that which you don’t understand and the peace to know that words can’t always explain how we feel.


This is the hardest thing to do when you have an anxious mind like mine that’s constantly troubled with self-doubt, self-hate, harsh self-criticism and a constant reminder of how irrelevant you are in this chaotic world.

The brief moments of trusting myself and not allowing my anxiety dictate who I am, I create work that is raw, unfiltered and from my heart and mind. Sometimes my anxiety drives the need to capture my busy mind."
