Friendship Lessons - Lyfe M.y Riley

I saw a wolf and it befriended me…

I ran into a snake and it warned that it was kin to me...

I thought this rat was my enemy…

But it turns out that the cat that had my back was spewing the negative energy…

The sharks mentioned they were friends to me...

But when it came to guerrilla warfare they turned to minnows and now the shames on

me…

So that dog started to change in me…

I broke my circle and now the eagle has sunk his talons with its eyes on me...

Then this owl turned and made a plea...

Said how wise is the man if he lets the jackals play while he’s asleep...

Aren’t you seeing the chameleon from the trees...?

Keep following sheep and you’ll get herded with the lost and the blinded

"All of my writings and thought processes come from a special place, especially when it comes to mental health. I was diagnosed with Bipolar at young age and I have lived with a certain duality throughout most of my life. When I write, I write from a place of understanding, pain, hurt, love and/or the lack thereof and in general life. I see the world as it is and never what it seems to be. Many people place mental illness in a negative perspective but in my mind those with mental health issues are the ones truly free and truly sane. They walk through life with an honest view of the world they live in. These are reasons why I've had schooling in psychology and force myself to view the world and life in its truest form"
